Split Tunneling
Lesson 4 of 7
Introduction
In this lesson, we will configure split tunneling on our VPN to allow users to access the local internet while connected to the VPN. This is important in real networks because it optimizes bandwidth usage and enhances user experience by enabling local internet access without routing all traffic through the VPN.
Quick Recap
In our previous lessons, we established a basic VPN setup. The topology remains the same, focusing on the ASA device configured for VPN access. The relevant IP addresses are:
- ASA IP Address: 192.168.1.1
- Client IP Address: 192.168.1.100
